Under the Michigan medical marijuana law, certain people are allowed to possess and use marijuana – if they meet certain conditions. It’s important to know your rights before you go down this path.
Rather than officially legalizing the use of and manufacture of medical marihuana, the Michigan Medical Marihuana Act actually just protects people from arrest, prosecution,
penalty, or being denied any right or privilege if the person fulfills certain requirements of the Act.
The first requirement is that the person is a qualifying patient or registered primary caregiver.
